For the Ordinary Act of Getting Dressed
For the Ordinary Act of Getting Dressed
The person I would like to introduce today is young, in their twenties. Though they left answers of only a few words for each item, they capture directly how patients of this age group experience gynecomastia.
Side effects and pain were the worries
The worries before surgery were side effects and pain. These are the two that those facing gynecomastia surgery most commonly come in carrying.
I cannot say that there are no side effects at all. Side effects such as bleeding or a seroma can occur rarely, and so we confirm the condition through pre-surgery examinations and observe the course in stages after surgery as well. Pain, too, varies from person to person, but with step-by-step pain management, most patients pass through it without much difficulty. Once you have checked the true nature of each worry one by one, what remains is only the resolve.
"Clean, and the customer service was kind"
In the box asking about the first impression, they wrote this.
"Clean, and the customer service was kind."
Within a few short words, both the environment and the people are contained. A clinic's first impression, I think, is ultimately decided by these two things.
What they wanted to do was "getting dressed"

As what they most wanted to do after surgery, they answered "getting dressed."
Not overseas travel, not exercise, but getting dressed. It is an answer that shows, I think, how much a single thin T-shirt can weigh on the mind of a gynecomastia patient. Because of the nature of gynecomastia, which protrudes in a rounded shape centered on the areola, it shows more visibly under thin clothing.
The final answer was a few words
To those facing the same concern, they left this.
"Strongly recommend the surgery."
That said, this too is this person's own experience. For those whose daily worry is getting dressed, before deciding on surgery, it is worth first confirming your own condition through an examination — the degree of mammary gland development and the Simon grade.
With gynecomastia, a considerable part can be judged just by looking at the shape of the chest, and confirming whether the mammary glands have proliferated through an ultrasound examination makes it more precise. The longer the worry drags on, the longer the time spent minding one's clothes. Confirmation comes first.
