"Try Exercise as Far as You Can First"
Among the words that someone who had the surgery left for others with the same concern was this.
"Try exercise as far as you can first, and if that doesn't work, I recommend getting surgery"
It was an answer that pointed out the order before recommending surgery.
What Shrinks with Exercise and What Does Not
If the cause of a protruding chest is fat, it shrinks with weight control and exercise. There really are people whose shape tidies up after losing weight. But if glandular tissue has grown as well, it is a different story. Glandular tissue does not shrink with exercise or diet. Cases where the chest shape stays the same even with a slim build fall into this category.
The two cannot be told apart from the outside. Checking the ratio of glandular tissue to fat by ultrasound tells you which applies to you, and that result determines whether it is a case for trying more exercise or a case for considering surgery. To follow the order this person described, that check comes first.

Their worry before surgery was pain, and after surgery they wrote this.
"It didn't hurt at all"
That was their case. Pain differs greatly with the amount of tissue removed, the extent of the surgery, and one's usual sensitivity to pain. Some people are left with a pulling sensation for several days, and some describe a heaviness because of swelling. So I do not say there is no pain; I explain at what point and to what degree it may appear, and what we use to manage it at that time.
What You Hear in the Consultation Room
About when they first came to the clinic, they wrote that they were treated kindly. Many people who come for gynecomastia have never told anyone about this. What you could not ask in the consultation room you will not be able to ask once you are home either, so I tend to spend time on explanations. All-male staff at the Incheon branch is also a condition set to reduce that burden.
What they wrote as something they wanted to do after surgery was this.
"Wearing thin, cool clothes like running gear as much as I want"
The more a garment is made for sweating, the thinner and more clinging it is. This is the point people who exercise find most uncomfortable. Resuming exercise starts with light cardio, and upper-body weight training is cleared last, so do not judge it on your own; confirm it at your appointment. We look at the state of the wound and swelling and tell you the range that suits you that day.
