I Rotated Two Compression Garments Morning and Evening
This is what someone who had surgery at the end of July wrote in the box for what worried them most: "I was concerned about wearing the compression garment (2–3 weeks) and the inconvenience at my office work, but it was bearable."
It was during a stretch of heat waves. They wrote that they rotated two compression garments, morning and evening, and got by without much discomfort.
Wearing a Compression Garment in Summer
The compression garment presses down on post-operative swelling and helps the skin remaining where tissue was removed adhere and settle into place. It is usually worn for two to three weeks, and after that it is adjusted as much as possible according to the course.
It is true that in summer surgery, this period is the most burdensome stretch. So one option is to prepare a spare and wear them alternately. Changing often is better for care around the wound than leaving a sweat-soaked garment on for a long time. Office work is mostly manageable from the week after surgery, but recovery speed and the timing of returning to work vary by individual, so we decide them together at follow-up.

As their impression on first coming to the clinic, this person wrote: "I was impressed that the manager in charge and the doctor explained things in great detail."
Gynecomastia is a treatment covered by national health insurance when the diagnostic criteria are met. Whether coverage applies, the order of tests, and the recovery schedule all feel different depending on whether you know them in advance or not. They wrote that nothing in particular came to mind as a memory from the surgery. It is performed under sedation and the operating surgeon comes in after the anesthesia is complete, so that time is usually blank.
This is the answer this person wrote to others with the same concern: "You only need to put up with about three weeks of inconvenience, and the surgery itself is not a burden at all, so I definitely recommend it." This is their experience; whether your condition requires surgery is something to judge after confirming your own condition through an examination.
As something they wanted to do, they wrote wearing performance T-shirts freely. Next summer, I hope they can choose without worrying about spares.
