"Do It Even a Day Sooner and Recover Sooner"
The review survey has a box for writing what you most want to do after surgery. Most people write about clothes or exercise, but this person wrote this in that box.
"There's nothing in particular I want to do."
You Do Not Need a Goal to Have Surgery
The reason for deciding on gynecomastia surgery is not always a clear plan. Some people want to go to the beach or have wedding photos to take, but more come simply because they want to get rid of something that bothers them. The worry this person wrote before surgery was a single line as well: pain after surgery.
Pain appears differently depending on the amount and firmness of the tissue removed and the extent of the surgery. Generally the day of surgery and the next day are the most uncomfortable, and it eases over the following several days. I explain that expected range in advance, along with how to manage it with painkillers and beyond what point you should come in for an earlier appointment.

About their first visit, they wrote this.
"It was comfortable, and it was good that it was a private room."
The reason the Incheon branch has consultations and waiting take place in private spaces is that people who come for gynecomastia find even meeting someone's eyes in a waiting room a burden. Some people say the trip there and the time spent waiting were harder than the examination itself. Having all-male staff was decided for the same reason. Once the condition is in place that they need not worry about being looked at during an examination that requires lifting their shirt, only then do they begin to ask what they want to know.
When I asked them for a word to others with the same concern, they wrote this.
"If you've made up your mind to do it, it's better to do it even a day sooner so you recover sooner."
After gynecomastia surgery, the period in which the wound heals, the period in which swelling subsides, and the period in which the tissue settles pass in order. Reaching the final stage takes several months, and that time cannot be shortened. If you postpone the surgery date, the day recovery ends moves back by just as much.
However, this applies after you have decided to have surgery. Depending on the grade and condition of the tissue, gynecomastia divides into cases where surgery is appropriate and cases where monitoring is fine, so the first step is to confirm at an examination which applies to you.
They said nothing in particular stayed with them from the surgery. Since it is performed under sedation, that is natural.
