The Size Didn't Shrink —
the Shape Came Out Beautifully
Among the men considering gynecomastia surgery, some arrive carrying an unexpected worry.
"If I have the surgery, won't my chest shrink too much?"
It is the fear that removing tissue will leave the whole chest sunken. They decided on surgery because their chest bothered them — and yet they hesitate again, worried it might end up too flat. Today I would like to share the story of one patient who came to us carrying exactly that subtle worry.
The size stayed, the shape improved
Before surgery, what worried him most was that his chest would end up smaller.
But after the surgery, once he saw the result for himself, this is what he told us: the size hadn't shrunk, and the shape had come out beautifully.
"The size didn't shrink, and the shape came out beautifully"

The goal of gynecomastia surgery is not simply to make everything smaller. It is to remove the unwanted mass of tissue while preserving the chest's natural volume and contour. Striking that balance is the heart of the procedure. The result he experienced is exactly what we aim for, every single time.
Surgery and care, received in comfort
When I asked how he felt on his first visit to the clinic, the first things that came to his mind were the consultation and the guidance he received.
"Thanks to the kind consultation and guidance, I went through the surgery and my appointments comfortably, without any discomfort."
Everyone tenses up at the word "surgery." What eases that tension is a kind consultation and calm, steady guidance. Helping patients move through the entire process with peace of mind is, to me, part of the care itself.
Nothing eventful — everything smooth
When asked whether any moment during the surgery stood out, his answer was matter-of-fact.
It means the surgery passed without incident — no surprises, no unsettling moments. In surgery, "nothing memorable happened" is simply another way of saying it went that steadily and safely.
"Insurance covered it, and I'm satisfied"
When I asked what he wanted to do first after surgery, this was his answer.
He wanted to finally get back to the workouts he had been putting off — this time with an easy mind.
When asked whether he had anything to say to others facing the same struggle, he offered a very practical perspective. On the cost side, insurance coverage was possible; he received attentive care after the surgery; and being able to see the results in photos for himself made it all the more satisfying.
Gynecomastia is a condition that, when the criteria are met, is covered by health insurance. Easing both the financial burden and the uncertainty about results — that is our role. And through that whole process, Trueman Gangnam will be there with you.
