"As You'd Expect from a Men's Clinic"
Some people say walking into the clinic was harder than the surgery itself. To be examined for gynecomastia, you have to lift your shirt right at the first visit.
The sentence this person wrote about the day they first came touched on exactly that point.
"As you'd expect from a men's clinic, the staff were men too, so it was comfortable. And the staff were kind."
The Conditions That Lower the Threshold Are Simple
The Incheon branch having all-male staff and a separate waiting area is not a special service but a condition for starting the examination. Only once it is clear they need not worry about being looked at do people ask what they had wanted to ask. What you could not ask in the consultation room you will not be able to ask once you are home either.
They also wrote that they had worried the surgery might go wrong, but it ended well. The kinds of worry are generally similar: pain, scarring, shape, and a vague anxiety. The first three can be narrowed down through the surgical plan and recovery guidance, and for the last one, I instead separate out what is a normal course and what is a sign to come in for an earlier appointment. One side looking more swollen or dulled sensation around the areola is usually part of a passing process, while a fever or one side suddenly becoming larger means you should come in right away.

When I Woke Up, My Throat Hurt
As something that stayed with them after waking, they wrote this.
"When I woke up, it was strange that my throat hurt."
During sedation, a device is placed in the airway to keep breathing stable. Because of this, after waking the throat may feel scratchy or swallowing may be uncomfortable, and it usually settles within a day or two. This process is handled by the anesthesiologist. I, as the operating surgeon, enter the operating room after the anesthesia has taken effect.
The Extra Layer I Used to Wear
As what changed after surgery, they wrote this.
"It's good to wear clothes comfortably. Before, even when it was hot, I always wore one more layer on the outside, but now I don't have to, and that's good."
Throwing on an outer layer even in midsummer is a method people with gynecomastia have used for a long time. The time to take off that one layer is set for after the wound has healed and compression garment wear has ended.
To others with the same concern, they said they wanted to tell them that they can wear clothes comfortably and walk around with their chest out. This is the change this person experienced, and whether you are in a condition that needs surgery is something to decide after checking at an examination.
In summer, they can now carry one less outer layer.
