"The Wedding Photo Shoot Went Really Well"
Some people cannot set their surgery date freely. If a wedding is booked or a photo shoot is scheduled, the recovery period has to be calculated backward.
What this person wrote in the box for what they wanted to do after surgery was that very schedule.
"The wedding photo shoot went really well."
When There Is a Date, We Count Backward
After gynecomastia surgery, the period in which the wound heals, the period in which swelling subsides, and the period in which the tissue settles pass one after another. It takes several months for the visible shape to settle, and the compression garment is worn in the earlier part of that time. If there is an event where clothes fit closely to the body, such as a photo shoot or a wedding, we calculate backward from that date to set the timing of surgery.
For three to four weeks after surgery, follow-up appointments are scheduled. If you have surgery during a busy stretch, these appointments are easy to miss, so it is better to look at the appointment schedule too when setting the date. Those with a wedding ahead should also factor in when to have clothes fitted. If measurements are taken while swelling remains, they will not fit later.

Without Unnecessary Words
As something that stayed with them in connection with the surgery, they wrote this.
"They were kind, and explained the surgery precisely without unnecessary words."
Where I spend time in consultation is separating out what is already decided and what is a judgment made during surgery. The thickness of tissue to leave, the incision location, and the stages of recovery can be told in advance, and for the parts adjusted during surgery according to the firmness or distribution of the tissue, I say so in advance. If something undecided is described as if it were decided, people become more anxious during recovery.
For Cost, Checking Comes First
As their worries before surgery, they wrote cost and results. Whether gynecomastia surgery is covered by national health insurance is judged by the condition and grade of the glandular tissue, looking at the ultrasound findings and the examination together. If you have private insurance, whether it pays and to what extent depend on the policy and its terms, so the clinic cannot promise the outcome. We issue the diagnosis and surgical details as recorded.
To others with the same concern, they left a short note.
"I recommend the surgery!"
This is this person's own experience, and whether you are in a condition that needs surgery is something to decide after checking at an examination. Depending on degree and type, gynecomastia divides into cases where surgery is appropriate and cases where monitoring is fine.
Photos last a long time. Because they discussed their schedule with us in advance, we were able to proceed in order.
