Now I Want to Build It Through Training

Just before deciding on surgery, the last worry generally converges on one thing: will the surgery go well.

The person in this case deliberated longest on that point. More than whether it would hurt or how long they would need to rest, what worried them most was how the result would turn out. After the surgery, they wrote that the worry had been resolved. But that is their course; surgical results and the shape of recovery differ with the amount of glandular tissue, skin condition, and body type. So in consultation, instead of promising a result, I first explain what is possible in your condition and where the difficulties begin.

The Place Where Explanations Run Long

What this person wrote as most memorable about the clinic was the consultation. They noted in turn that the consultation manager's explanation was kind and thorough, and that the nurse and the examining doctor were kind as well.

Consultations here run longer than for other care. It is a concern carried for a long time, so there is a lot to ask — and a lot for us to explain. We do not see the length as a problem. Setting a surgery date with questions still unanswered leads to more anxiety later.

Saying They Do Not Really Remember

Asked what moment stayed with them from the surgery, this person said they do not really remember.

Our surgery is performed under sedation. The operation takes place while you sleep and lasts about thirty minutes. Once it is finished, we explain in the recovery room how it went. Because the elapsed time is short, many say the interval is hard to place afterward. Having nothing to remember also means nothing unusual happened during the procedure.

A Plan to Build It Through Training

Asked what they wanted to do after surgery, this person said they want to build their chest through training.

Gynecomastia is a matter of glandular tissue that exercise does not resolve. No matter how much you train, that part remains, so the effort does not show and some people give up on training altogether. Now that training will show results, the changes ahead are theirs to make. It is best to raise intensity in stages in line with recovery, and we advise when to begin what while watching your progress.

To Those Facing the Same Concern

This person left a note that they would recommend our clinic to others with the same concern. I am grateful for that, but it comes from their own experience. Whether surgery is warranted and which method fits is something to judge after confirming your condition directly at an examination.

The longer a concern has been postponed, the harder even asking becomes. Helping with that one first step is, I believe, our job.
